Why a blog..?

First Things First: It's amazing that I'm actually getting this done, that's wild.

My mind is so active I'm not even sure how I sat here to write this (I was listening to that new J. Cole album actually). This entire post is being proofread via Notion (not sponsored) which is where I organize most of my projects. And somehow I found a moment to start this paragraph. Matter of fact I already ran out of time and going to have to finish writing this when I get another moment (imagine I got up and left you here waiting for the end of a random conversation)…

I started a blog because my website provides the ability for written word. My initial thought is you came here from my recommendation from YouTube and my second thought is you were alerted through social media. So you already know that I create videos in relation to design (or at least that is my intent) so I hope this site reflects that. But a blog can supplement the visual elements that I always don't have time to shoot, edit and upload. I don't always feel necessary to video journal everything, sometimes the written form is quicker and easier to get the thoughts out. Or it can be the written "SparkNotes" translation from a longer format video (reference for my early 2000's school kids who wasn't about reading the whole book in time).

So imagine that you actually read this to the full and this is the part where I provided you the expectation of what the blog will hold: I'm attempting for at least once every two weeks on a Monday where I publish a catch up, update, article, some form of information about HXD and its various forms, and that supplements me almost never posting a video. Then anything on additional days can be can be about upcoming dates or information or whatever. Cool?

Cool.

Preciate you.
