Who wants Free stuff?

First Things First: Is it really Free?

I’ve always fought with this mindset: How else will people see the value in my stuff if I give it away for free?

For creators, they constantly fight with giving away their product for free if it doesn’t provide any monetary value or exposure in return. If you can think about the first person you pitched your ideas too and they gave you positive feedback, did you inquire if they would purchase it first? Or instead if you received negative feedback, did you get critique to make it better and then see how much they would pay for it? It is harder to sell to those who you know because the thought is “you’ll always be there to buy from” or “you don’t do friend and family discounts”?

So to get to the point, I want to take the thought of freebies into my own terms. I’ve mentioned in past videos that if you cherish or hold your product in high regard, you can definitely gift it to anyone. You can do giveaways to those who you advertise. And being on YouTube and Print-on-Demand communities, providing a basic service to those who need basic designs is an easy place to start.

Under the Shop tab in the navigation, a new page will provide basic jpgs and png images for people to save to use to their hearts content (coming 2023). These are just simple and basic quick designs that I would normally practice and throw away but now they are up for re-use for anyone. This is just the beginning because the medium or art will change over time, let’s just start some where simple.

Peace!
